The Anti Drugs committee was started in the academic year 2023 at the decree of the Academic Director, Dr. Devi, and Principal, Dr.B.N.Bobinath NPR Arts and Science College, Natham, Dindigul. To ensure a drug-free campus by imposing a total ban on the possession or consumption or use of drugs and alcohol by students of the college, within or outside the campus/hostels.

• To engage the students in anti-drug activities. 
• Motivate students to become volunteers in anti-drug activities. 
• Ensure no sale of drugs or alcohol on college premises. 

Objectives 

• To figure out the dangers and consequences of drugs and inhalant abuse. 
• To make future citizens drug-free. 
• To promote the innate potential of the Youth in a drug-free world. 

Policy 

• The policy aims to build safe and healthy communities by minimizing drug-related health, social, and economic harm among students. 

Practices 

• Creating practical strategies to reduce the negative effects of drug use. 
• Formation of Anti-Drug Squad of the students’ volunteers at the institution and hostel. 
• Carrying out regular as well as surprise visits in Hostels and other places. 
• To protect the health and welfare of all students by solving the drug problem. 
• Organizing various awareness programs to educate the students about the ill effects of the use of drugs as well as the penalties for violation of the laws. 
• Displaying of Anti-Drug posters at prominent places for awareness of the students. 
• Organizing various programs against the use and possession of drugs/alcohol. 

Outcome 

• Drug-free campus.
