Library
The Library and Information Centre of NPR College of Engineering & Technology has set its objective “To Satisfy the User Community and improve Digital Knowledge Management”.
In our library, all the activities are fully automated by the AUTOLIB software including OPAC (On-Line Public Access Catalogue) and Barcode Scanner for circulation.
NPRCET digital library resources can be accessed from anywhere at any time through remote access platform. Our library building is under CCTV surveillance.

Procedure for Remote Access:

- Use your employee number / Roll number as the user id and the same is the password
- You can also update your profile after login (change password, update photo, phone number, and mail id)
- Go to the search box (Simple search, Quick search, and advanced search options are there)
- Search using keywords for knowing the availability of physical books at the library

Mobile OPAC (Access from outside campus)
Procedure for installing and accessing the mobile OPAC:
- Go to Google play store on an Android phone (Search for NPR Group of Institutions Unique Creations Software).
- Install the app on your mobile and use the above same credentials
- OPAC can be used for checking our transactions such as total books issued, returns, and due dates, and for knowing other details.

Rules and Regulations
- Strict and absolute silence shall be observed in the Library.
- Bags, Big handbags, raincoats, jerkins, and Casual wear are strictly prohibited inside the library.
- Library users are strictly prohibited from taking the borrowed and stamped books again inside the library.
- If the due date related to the lending of books falls on a holiday, the next working day will be taken as the due date.
- If any book is lost or damaged beyond repair, the person responsible shall replace it with a new copy.
- Books will be issued to students on producing barcode ID cards only.
- Books will not be issued to members on the ID card of others.
- Books will be issued subject to availability only.
- No sub-lending of books is permitted.
- Any kind of marking, underlining, or clipping of books is forbidden.
- The book has to be produced in the Library for renewal on or before the due date.
- More than one renewal will not be allowed.
- The borrower will be responsible for any loss or non-return of any books issued against his / her original (or) duplicate ID Card.
- For late return of books, Barcode ID will be blocked as per rules in force.
- Reference books, Newspapers, Magazines, and Journals should not be taken out.
- The library may accept donations of manuscripts, books, periodicals, etc. from the donors.
- The overnight issue is available for selected reference books.
Membership
The Central Library provides membership for the faculty members, students, and supporting staff of our college. The number of books issued will be varying according to the membership category.
