Preamble:

To start men's empowerment, we should begin by giving training in basic life skills to young boys to make them self-dependent and self-reliant.

MDC at NPRCET:

Men's Development Cell was established in the year 2021 at NPRCET. To develop the skills and to bring the talents of the male students to the limelight competitions and programs are conducted periodically, every year.

Objectives:

  • To challenge the prevailing social norms that lead to gender imbalances and by giving them the space to adopt new roles and behaviors as men.
  • To stress the development of men in every sphere.
  • To organize events and activities for men's empowerment.
  • To create an environment that will help men realize their full potential and give their best.

Events Details

The Men's Development Cell & NSS Jointly organized a one-day Motivational Program titled "பெரிதினும் பெரிது கேள்" (Ask More and More) for all male students. Mr. V. Veera Balaji, M.Com, MBA (Ph.D), a Tamil orator from Kovai Kamban Kazhagam, was the resource person. He explained the importance of men's empowerment and education in society and shared motivational success stories.
